New Semester

Well I layed out my clothes, packed a lunch, and set my alarm last night... the new semester is here!  I woke up early and hit the bikes at the gym.  30 minutes on the bike isn't much but its a good starting point, 15 minutes of a good pace, 5 minutes of sprints in intervals of 30 seconds, followed by 10 minutes of riding.  Biking sure isn't as fun when its indoors and on a stationary bike, but I'm feeling good about myself.  I packed all my shower gear and showered amongst all of the old wrinkly old men in the locker room, which is too much information I know, but one has to wonder why the heck their are always old wrinkly old men in locker room showers.... especially in the wee hours of the morning at a University.  They must live there or something.

Funny thing is with all the preparation things still manage to go wrong.  We're all victim to the law of Entropy I suppose.  I packed a nice outfit to wear after I worked out but neglected to bring any pants so I'm wearing a nicer outfit with workout sweat pants.

I went to my first class and found out the location of the class was changed to another building across campus, upon arrival found out it was changed back to the original spot.  Its been one of those days haha but my outlook is positive and I'm excited for the new semester.

I would like to get more involved this semester.  I'll find myself humoring the idea of maybe starting a non-profit organization (usually in odd times of mild sleep deprivation ), perhaps one that assembled care packages for soldiers overseas or something, but I have no knowledge on how to go about doing something like that so I'll have to look into that further haha.

Have a good Monday!

Too bad about the mismatched clothes and location change. At least it makes for a good story. As far as the nonprofit idea goes, odds are, there is already at least one, if not more that doesn't just what you're thinking in the area. I would look into that and help out there, rather than trying to start at zero.

That post made me laugh, about the pants and the old dudes. I always thought it was old ladies. Naked old ladies. Good luck!
